Founded in 1997, Armantus is an award winning, full service communications agency, providing strategic consulting, website development, advertising creative, production and placement, and media relations.

Over the years Armantus has been recognized with numerous national and international awards, including the ChannelSeven.com Top 100 International Agency in 1999 and 2000, Marketing Award 1999, Digital Marketing Gold 2000 and 2001, and the Branham/Financial Post Top 50 in 2001. Our work for GroceryGateway.com, Canada’s most successful online grocery retailer, was honored with a 2001/2002 Applied Arts Award, and an unprecedented two consecutive Digital Marketing Gold awards.

We’re proud of these achievements, but we’re not surprised. Because the team assembled at Armantus represents a truly unique mix of creativity, new media expertise, and traditional advertising experience.

We believe you do not just put up a Web site; you initiate a dialogue. The resulting online experience – listening to site visitors, analyzing traffic patterns – is a unique opportunity to connect to the consumer’s mindset, improving communication both online and offline.

Although Armantus’ focus is on providing comprehensive online solutions, we also have the print and broadcast expertise to successfully integrate campaigns in all available media. In fact, sometimes this is the optimal approach. In our experience, traditional media are very effective in generating awareness. Tying offline promotions to online fulfillment, for example, often results in a reduction of fulfillment costs, as well as providing an opportunity to build an enhanced understanding of the audience. Armantus is skilled and experienced in dealing with these issues.

At Armantus, we believe that our success – and our clients’ success – is directly proportional to our understanding of our clients’ needs. We begin any project with a review of the marketing and communications goals, the target group(s), the competitive environment and the business challenges to be addressed.  These are the insights that drive our strategic recommendations and ensure that the execution really does address our clients’ business needs.  In the end, that’s what it’s all about.  The awards are bonus.
